On July 26, 2025, at Intuit Headquarters in Plano, TX, Soul Reborn, founded by Dr. Cheryl Polote Williamson, hosted Affirming the Vision: A Free Vision Board Experience for Women. This one-of-a-kind event welcomed 100 women for a day of empowerment, inspiration, and community. Attendees arrived to a warm atmosphere filled with gourmet breakfast and lunch by Chef Felicia, vibrant conversations, and a promise that the day would be about more than just vision boards—it would be about changing lives. From guided discussions to creative sessions, women were encouraged to dream bigger, see themselves in new ways, and map out a path to their goals in a safe, uplifting environment.
The energy soared during the Soul Reborn Pitch Competition, where women-owned businesses took center stage. One of the most powerful moments came when Ivory Lawrence claimed the top prize of $3,000, and Tanisha Stewart earned a well-deserved $2,000 as runner-up—real investments to help these women bring their visions to life. In total, $7,500 in grants were awarded, providing the resources and encouragement to turn bold ideas into thriving realities. The competition was judged by an outstanding panel of leaders: Sara Madsen Miller of 1820 Productions, Stacy Bowers of Simmons Bank, Stephanie Bowers of Texas Capital Bank, and Sharan Allen & Karan Staggers of Agape Life Multicultural Services. Each judge brought deep expertise and a commitment to seeing women succeed, offering valuable feedback and encouragement to every participant. Their insights and the participants’ courage made the moment more than just a contest—it became a powerful affirmation that women’s voices and visions matter.
